My Winter Bedtime Lip Rescue

At the moment I am completely digging Maybelline products. I think in the last couple of weeks I have purchased about 10+ items, 7 lipsticks, concealer, nail polish, mascara, eye shadows, which will all eventually be blogged, but this post is on their Baby Lips, Dr Rescue lippy.

It is divine, I slather my lips in it every evening/night time. Not only is it soft and moisturising, my favourite thing about this product is that it has a menthol effect in it, it reminds me of putting Vicks on my chest, which is really relaxing at night as it helps me breathe.

The balm also contains a hint of eucalyptus and shea butter, with medicated care and 12 hour hydration. It also claims that in 1 minute lips feel smoothed, which I agree with, in 1 day lips look more smooth, and in 1 week lips are renewed,  so I can't wait to see how much of a difference I can notice, as this time of the year lips and skin can get terribly dry, so I try to do as much as possible to keep on top of them.

It actually comes in 6 shades, but I'm not sure if that is currently only in America, as I only noticed one in the shop, although I'm very happy with the shade i got.

It is called Berry Soft, and it leaves a lovely subtle shade on my lips, and can also be used under other lip products which I haven't tried yet as I've only been using it after taking off my make up.

The other shades are, Too Cool, Pink Me Up, Just Peachy, Soothing Sorbet and Coral Crave, which online look beaut, I'm going to check out the UK site to see if we do stock the other colours, as I more than likely will be grabbing those too!

Let me know any other drugstore remedies that are your faves?

Muchos Love,

Chanelle SP
