My Diary

My diary is literally like my best friend. I know that sounds either really extreme, or makes me look very, very lonely, but I genuinely cannot function without it.

This is obviously because of my lifestyle, but I barely know what day of the week it is anymore, and my memory is like a siv, so this is literally how I feel if I haven't looked at it after a few hours.

I remember once leaving it at my Mums, and I was returning to her house within 2 weeks, but I made her pay for it to be posted to me the next morning as my brain was freaking out! Weird right!

I enjoy writing in it generally, but I also have to write down booked jobs, addresses as every job is a different location, call times, rate, I even have to put in work I've applied for just so I'm mentally prepared for anything and it surprisingly fills me with joy when I've got an hour or two to give the inside of my diary some TLC, shame I can't say the same for the outside....


What a state!!

It spends every day of the year going in an out of my bag that it's been demolished! I can't complain it was only a pound, but every year it lasts until December then falls apart, almost like it's saying goodbye to the year!

Next year I think I deserve to treat myself to a nice diary as it is my best bud, but I don't want to go too luxury as I don't want it to be heavy as I carry it around everywhere. It also needs 1 page per day, as sometimes that's not even enough space for me. Maybe I need to look at getting a usual sized one, and then maybe a small one just to literally scratch off days I'm booked up!

I need to purchase one ASAP as I've got only 1 page of notes in my current one and that's already filled up with dates next year!
